The children in Neighborhood House's Rainier Vista Head Start classroom proved that a pile of new books is about as irresistible as it gets.
With gusto, they descended on dozens of books donated to Neighborhood House by patrons of Barnes & Noble Booksellers.
They also listened and played along as Barnes & Noble's Erin Vargo gave an animated reading of "Where the Wild Things Are."
"We really focus on sparking a love of reading in our students," said NH Child Development Director Kathee Richter.
