Scholarships
Building self-sufficiency through education
In keeping with our mission of promoting self-sufficiency, Neighborhood House administers the Heart of Oak scholarship, which is designed to help a low-income students meet their educational goals. We offer two scholarships annually to help pay for tuition and other costs of higher education. Recipients of past Heart of Oak scholarships have gone on to study at Cornell, Eastern Washington University and other two- and four-year colleges.
