The High Point Neighborhood Center - where it all comes together.

Community. Technology. Environment.

This state-of-the-art neighborhood center will be designed to meet the diverse needs of the High Point neighborhood - a vibrant mixed-income community in West Seattle. Within its walls, preschoolers will learn and play together in Neighborhood House's Head Start program, adults will receive on-site job training and access to case workers, and teenagers will gather with their peers after school.

The center will double as an environmental learning center - a LEED gold-certified building where visitors can learn how reducing our own consumption of energy and natural resources can improve the quality of life for all. The building integrates seamlessly with the surrounding High Point neighborhood, which is dedicated to sustainable and green development.

We need your support to make this dream a reality. To learn more, please take a few moments to explore our campaign Web site. Here you can browse through our campaign brochure, view construction plans, and learn just what it means to "go green."

Capital Campaign gifts to honor ex-High Point residents Senator Kauffman and Councilmember Gossett

West Seattle's High Point community is full of memories for state Senator Claudia Kauffman and King County coucilmember Larry Gossett.  They both shared tales of their childhoods growing up in High Point with the guests of the August 16 Neighborhood House Groundbreaking Event.

Because of their shared High Point history and their continued commitment to support low-income individuals and families, Neighborhood House is especially honored to offer a special room naming opportunity as part of the Heart of High Point Capital Campaign.

Neighborhood House invites you to make a gift to name the Claudia Kauffman and Larry Gossett Youth Achievement Room.  This office, located in the central entry way, will play a key role in serving and guiding the future generations of young people who will call High Point home.  This room will be a symbolic, lasting tribute to past, present and future residents of High Point.

Make your capital campaign gift today to help reach the $30,000 goal by donating to our campaign.

We thank the donors who have made contributions in honor of Senator Kauffman and Councilmember Gossett.  With their support we have raised $13,025 toward our goal!

Update: A video segment on the High Point Neighborhood Center groundbreaking recently aired on the Seattle Channel. To view the segment, click here.
