Grillin' With Dillon!
2009-07-27

Matt Dillon -- chef-owner of Sitka & Spruce and The Corson Building and named one of Food & Wine's Best New Chefs for 2007 -- is a big supporter of Neighborhood House and other causes like fresh, inexpensive, local food and a partnership with Seattle Youth Garden Works.

On Tuesday, August 18th, Mr. Dillon will open The Corson Building solely for Neighborhood House and an evening of food, wine, and solar panels.  The event will be a unique combination of farm-to-table food prepared by a brilliant chef, a beautiful location (The Corson Building is an Italian villa in Georgetown once used for making ornamental stonework) and, last but not least, a fantastic cause.

The evening will be a fundraiser for the Solar Panel Challenge, a campaign to raise $100,000 for a second array of solar panels atop the High Point Neighborhood Center.
