Hope now forms the foundation for our new High Point Neighborhood Center. On Feb. 6, Neighborhood House Executive Director Mark Okazaki, Director of Strategic Initiatives Ray Li and Capital Campaign volunteer Peter Wolf gathered at the construction site for a hope stone ceremony to dedicate the new building.
At the groundbreaking held in August of 2008, community members inscribed their own messages of hope onto our "hope stones." Those small gestures of hope and support are now assembled in the foundation of our center, which will house critical social services for the High Point community as well as serve as a cutting-edge environmental education center.
