We need your vote for Neighborhood House!

Neighborhood House is honored to be representing Seattle in the Starbucks Community Card: Vote.Give.Grow. program.

The mission of Neighborhood House is to help diverse communities of people with limited resources attain their goals for self-sufficiency, financial independence, health, and community building.

We focus on alleviating poverty in Seattle and King County.  When you vote for Neighborhood House, you are supporting:

  • A promise that an entire neighborhood of kids will go to college. The Neighborhood House Promise Neighborhood Initiative is building a better future for the families and children of West Seattle’s High Point community by providing a pipeline of services to ensure every child gets the best education possible and graduates from high school prepared for college, work, and life.
  • Adult education and employment coaching that gets results for King County. Neighborhood House Adult Education & Employment helps people gain new skills for the workplace, seek out better-paying positions and prepare for job interviews. For those who need it, we provide funding for community college classes and vocational education programs.
  • Resources for infants, children and parents in Seattle who need it most. Early Childhood Education from Neighborhood House offers a full range of programs for low-income families with young children (from birth to 5 years old). We also serve pregnant mothers as they await the arrival of their new child. Our Early Childhood Education program provides diverse, culturally-appropriate services to all enrolled families, many of whom are recent refugees and immigrants.
Neighborhood House has helped generations of local families fulfill the promise of America — an education for their children, self-sufficiency for their families and a meaningful place in a caring community.  With your vote, we will continue this tradition.

Thank you!
