Instructor for Children’s Enrichment Program (ages 0-5)
BACKGROUND AND PROGRAM SCOPE
Neighborhood House partners with diverse individuals and families to build community and achieve their goals for health, education and self-sufficiency. The Neighborhood House Family Resource Center provides a variety of servics to the High point community.
The Family Resource Center is currently looking to enhance programming offered to children ages 0 to 5 and their caregivers by planning themed activities for the children to engage in on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
We are looking for volunteers to come in once a month on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m and who are prepared to teach a 30-45 minute lesson to children ages 0-5. Children will be accompanied by an adult.
Possible themed activities include:
*Music and movement class
*The activities we schedule will be based on the interest and expertise of our volunteers.
--Desire to share a special skill with children
--Committed to at least one Wednesday per month between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
To positively impact the lives of children and their caregivers with the support of other volunteers and dedicated Neighborhoos House staff.
We are looking for volunteers available to start as soon as possible.
