111th Anniversary What Matters Most Breakfast

 
BACKGROUND AND PROGRAM SCOPE:
For over 100 years Neighborhood House has been providing high quality services to low income individuals and families throughout King County. The annual breakfast event is an opportunity to celebrate our achievements with long-time supporters and also to welcome new friends to the organization.
 
Volunteers play a vital role in supporting staff to create a pleasant, well-organized and fun event for all who attend.
 
TIMEFRAME and DUTIES
Volunteer activities for this event will take place over three days:

Tuesday, March 14, 2-7 pm: Event Set Up

  • Hanging signs
  • Organizing name tags
  • Setting tables

Wednesday, March 15, 7-11 am: Event Support

  • Greeting guests
  • Supporting the registration table
  • Collecting and organizing materials after the event
  • Volunteers on this day get to attend the breakfast at no cost

Thursday, March 16, anytime between 9am-5pm: Event Thank You’s

  • Handwriting Thank You cards to donors
  • Times are scheduled based on volunteer availability
 
LOCATION
On March 14 and 15, volunteers will meet Neighborhood House staff at the Washington State Convention Center (705 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101). Parking fees are covered by Neighborhood House.
 
On March 16, volunteers will meet at the Neighborhood House Central Office (1225 S Weller St, Suite 510, Seattle, WA 98144).
