BACKGROUND AND PROGRAM SCOPE:
Neighborhood House partners with diverse individuals and families to build community and achieve their goals for health, education and self-sufficiency. We accomplish this mission by providing a variety of services. Our focus areas include early childhood education, youth development, family and social services, employment and adult education, housing stability, community health, and aging & disability services.
We are seeking a skilled volunteers who can help us share the story of our work through photography and/or videography.
Work with the Development team and program staff to identify photo/video opportunities at different NH sites. This may include strategizing about the development of materials like annual reports, brochures, case statements, direct mail solicitations, ads, social media, ad campaigns and websites.
Coordinate with program staff to arrange for photo/video session (or visiting of programs).
Work with Development and program teams to obtain release forms for all clients/program participants.
Provide photos/video to NH's Development team.
The ideal candidate would have experience in photography and videography. Prior experience working with diverse individuals is desired.
Fill a current need in a local nonprofit and help them share their work with the broader region.
Build and/or diversify your portfolio.
Primarily weekdays between 9am-5pm but flexible based on photographer/ videographer availability. Occasional weekend and/or evening opportunities for special events.
All Neighborhood House sites.
