Instructor for Children's Enrichment Program (ages 0-5)

Background and Program Scope:

Neighborhood House partners with diverse individuals and families to build community and achieve their goals for health, education and self-sufficiency.  The Neighborhood House Family Resource Center provides a variety of services to the High Point community.

The Family Resource Center is currently looking to enhance programming offered to children ages 0 to 5 and their caregivers by planning themed activities for the children to engage in.

Possible themed activities include:

  • Art lesson
  • Craft activity
  • Storytime
  • Language class
  • Music and movement class
  • Sing along
  • Exercise class
  • Etc.

Volunteers should be available to commit to an ongoing weekly schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Desire to share a special skill with children
  • Interest in working with diverse communities
  • Ability to lead and instruct children an activities

 

TIMEFRAME

Classes take place Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:30am-12:00pm
