Southeast Seattle Prevention Coalition promotes healthy living through broad coalition of support
Neighborhood House coordinates the SE Seattle/Aki Kurose Middle School Prevention Coalition. We meet monthly with the goal of keeping youth in Southeast Seattle safe and healthy. The goal of the coalition is to reduce drug and alcohol use by youth, decrease youth violence, improve academic achievement and improve mental health.
The Coalition includes members from all sectors of the community, including schools, parents, youth programs, drug and alcohol treatment, local government, law enforcement, churches, and businesses.
We are always looking for new coalition members, so please let us know if you would like to join our efforts!
